The Metropole Building
Seattle, WA
Fire gutted The Metropole Building on
May 21, 2007; Murphy Varey is working
with the property owner/manager to
refurbish the historic Pioneer Square
structure. Special care has been
devoted to retaining as much of the
original historic character of the
building as possible while updating it
to current building and ADA code
requirements.
The Metropole was commissioned by Henry
Yesler in 1881 and housed the first
G.O.Guy Pharmacy on its ground floor.
